Coldstreamer Inn, Gulval

South West gold standard

THE GOOD Food Guide has praised the standard of dining in the South West. It includes 24 new entries from the region in The Good Food Guide 2013, the latest edition of the prestigious restaurant review guide which publishes next month.
It is Cornwall that sees the highest number of new entries in the region with The Coldstreamer Inn in Gulval, The Herring at Mawgan Porth, The Old Coastguard in Mousehole, Rojano's in the Square in Padstow, Rosevine in Portscatho, Seagrass Restaurant in St Ives and Untitled by Robert Wright in Penzance, all featuring for the first time in the new edition.

Elizabeth Carter, consultant editor of The Good Food Guide, said: "We are delighted to welcome new eateries from the South West into The Good Food Guide this year.
"It is fantastic to see that there are really strong dining options to be enjoyed across the region, with a mix of new entries sitting alongside first-rate fine dining establishments and perennial favourites."

The Good Food Guide 2013 publishes on September 3, priced £17.99. It can be ordered at www.thegoodfood guide.co.uk/shop or bought in any good bookshop.
