Bodmin to Saltash

There's some interesting pubs to discover from Bodmin's historic Hole in the Wall to the Fishermans Arms in Golant with it's amazing views across the River Fowey and then up to Saltash on the edge of the River Tamar.

The Hole in the Wall, which was once a debtors' prison between 1749 and 1779. is often described as Bodmin's hidden gem as although it is just off the high street, it’s not always that easy to spot. It was first opened as a pub in the 1930’s.

This pub is a great spot to find, situated next to the main car park in Bodmin, for a refreshing pint of real ale in the patio or the bar area.  We offer a traditional lunchtime food menu which is served every day of the week.

The Fisherman's Arms, Fowey

Situated in the stunning Cornish Village of Golant which sits on the River Fowey. The Fishermans Arms offers you beautiful views across the river. The building dates back to 1826 and has in the last year under gone a refurbishment inside and out. This has been done within keeping and without losing any of it's charm.

Overlooking the river is a sheltered seating area which is the top part of the terrace beer garden. This is a perfect place on a sunny day.

The Devon and Cornwall is situated on the Rame Peninsula in the pretty village of Millbrook. This historic 17th century inn is a traditional Cornish pub. The pub gets it's name from the fact it sits on the old Devon and Cornwall border, it's reported that four streams ran under the pub and the largest one  is the dividing line between the two counties.

We offer a full menu every day excluding Mondays and we are well known for our foodies features which are different every evening.
